About us

Welcome to Musiicz blog

Welcome to Musiicz blog, a resource and learning site for anyone who is just starting out in the wonderful world of music production and instrumentation.

This website has been created with early career musicians in mind and we strive to offer you useful guides to help you where you want to go. For many starters, learning to play can become daunting and even sometimes impossible. By reading our helpful guides, we hope to give you the confidence boost to make sure you keep practicing and improving.

We like to ensure that you know a bit of the background of the instrument you are playing too, and you’ll find a wealth of exciting history. For instance, you can learn about legendary violins and the players that made them iconic. There’s information on the extraordinary beginnings of some of the best-loved guitar brands that we take for granted today. Through learning some of the histories, you’ll be inspired and see the instrument in your hands as the treasure it is.

Throughout the website, you’ll find we cover a whole host of topics such as:

  • How to start learning to play
  • What are the best instruments to learn on
  • The historical background of the most iconic instruments
  • Profiles of some of the world’s best-loved musicians
  • Reviews of the best brands of guitar, violin, cello and many more

With the music industry always evolving and progressing, we hope that you’ll return to this website time and again as an invaluable resource to guide you on your journey. As you improve with each passing day, we’ll help you find the best guitar, violin, ukulele or harmonica, (plus many more) to fit with your level of ability.

Most importantly, we hope that we can help you to enjoy your playing and remain in love with playing music as you learn.

David Slavkovic – Writer

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, David Slavković has been playing guitar since 1998. First inspired by the bands like Creedence Clearwater Revival, Black Sabbah, Judas Priest, and Deep Purple, his musical tastes further spread into many other styles. Blues, Jazz, Classical, World music – all these genres mean a lot to him. And although he kept running away from music for most of his adult life, it finally caught him when he started working for Ultimate-Guitar.com. David is currently working for Ultimate Guitar as one of the editors for the website’s “Articles” section.
